WHAT IS YOUR FEE?
~ My fee is based on factors which include distance, time, special requests, etc. For example, in 2007, a simple wedding, without a rehearsal, located in downtown Chicago, would be approximately $350. I would love to discuss your ideas, needs, desires, and dreams in order to provide you with a meaningful quote.
~ If you have been referred by Reverend Louis Conselatore of A Beautiful Affair of the Heart, he has quoted a fee by which I am bound.
~ I am located on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois; when I quote my fee, it will include travel within a two-hour radius. Of course, we can negotiate travel expenses to any location worldwide!
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
~ I am very proud to offer discounts to active duty military, police, firefighters, and EMTs, as my personal thank you for serving and protecting.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DESPOSIT?
~ Yes. A non-refundable Fifty Dollar ($50) deposit, by cash or check payable to Amethyst Engagements LLC, is required in order for me to reserve your wedding date in my schedule.
~ The full remaining balance may be paid in cash following the wedding ceremony. If you prefer to pay by check, please send a check to me so it arrives no less than ten business days prior to the wedding date. That check may be for the full remaining balance, or it may leave a balance of up to One Hundred Dollars ($100) to be paid in cash following the ceremony.
WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATIONS?
~ If you cancel the wedding prior to one calendar month before wedding date, I will retain the non-refundable Fifty Dollar ($50) deposit and will return a check to you representing any additional funds paid.
~ If you cancel the wedding less than one month prior to the wedding date, an additional $50 cancellation fee will apply. If, however, you reschedule the wedding with me on a date I'm available, no cancellation fee will apply.
~ If I am unable to officiate at the wedding due to circumstances beyond my control (such as an illness, etc.), at no additional cost to you I will provide an Officiant to stand in my stead, using the ceremony we have created. If I am unable to provide a substitute Officiant, I will return ALL monies paid, including the initial Fifty Dollar ($50) deposit; in addition, I will also pay you a penalty fee. By the way, I’ve never missed a wedding.

~ Please know if you have any special circumstances or requirements, we can discuss them and make any appropriate adjustments to my fee or my policies. Do not rule me out without talking with me; I am committed to working with you to meet your needs.
